This London-based MBA in International Business is an internationally recognised master's degree in business administration and management. The program focuses on developing students' knowledge in business strategy and change management. If students do not have a first degree in business, this MBA will give them a solid grounding in business management, followed by international business courses, projects and a guided internship. This degree allows students to follow their own professional interests.
As part of the course, students must secure an internship with a company of their choice (UK or overseas), driving them to apply their knowledge and gain practical experience. It helps students to put into practice skills developed in communication, numeracy and problem-solving within a professional context, and to build their sense of business values and integrity.
In a typical week, learning takes place through a combination of lectures and seminars. Students will be able to discuss and develop their understanding of topics covered in lectures in smaller group sessions. Outside of timetabled sessions, they'll need to dedicate time to self-study to prepare for coursework, presentations and exams. Greenwich's Stockwell Street library and online resources will support further reading and research. Learners can also join a range of student societies, including the Economics and Business Society.
The International Business graduates pursue management careers in a wide range of multinational companies, non-government and public sector organizations. Some might find employment in small and medium enterprises in international trade, and local or central government.
