The MSc Real Estate Development and Investment, MSc is accredited by a leading professional body the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has been designed to appeal to a wide range of applicants including existing property professionals. There is the possibility of conversion to an RICS approved professional qualification.
For all applicants, this MSc programme aims to develop their awareness, understanding and critical appreciation of the role of real estate investment and development in a market-led economy. This is done primarily within the context of the UK but also using comparative analysis of the process in Europe and the rest of the world.
Students will develop awareness, analytical, understanding, and critical appreciation alongside skills to work and study independently and to participate in group activities. Furthermore, this programme encourages professional, research and decision-making skills.
Learners will be taught by renowned experts both professional and academic staff with specialisms in the field of construction, property and surveying practices. Student within the School of Design will be a member of a larger creative community which includes Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Built Environment.
