The University of Law's Legal Practice Course is tried and tested, well-respected by top law firms and will fully prepare students for their future career. With the LPC, students will experience working as a trainee solicitor and get hands-on experience processing client files and performing tasks relating to real case studies, giving them the best possible start for their entry into the legal job market.
The LPC is the final stage of training to become a qualified solicitor. Students will study the LPC after successful completion of a qualifying law degree, or other recognised qualifications.
The LPC is recognised and well-respected and valued by law firms due to the level of practical preparation our students receive, beyond just theory. It’s a hands-on qualification and certifying means that students will be able to adapt to working life as a solicitor and thrive quickly.
At the University of Law, they focus on the skills that employers are most interested in so that students can enhance their academic knowledge while preparing for the realities of life in legal practice.
If students would like the opportunity to gain a deeper interest in a specialist area of the law and to keep their options open, the LLM will suit their needs. Students will successfully complete the LPC with either an extra elective of their choice or a Law and Business module and a Professional Practice Research Report and they will receive an LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice.
