The MSc International Accounting and Finance has recently been reaccredited by the global accounting body, ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), underlining University of Stirling's close relationships with the profession.
This accreditation gives graduates automatic exemption from four of their papers, (Accountant in Business, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate and Business Law) with a fifth and sixth (Financial Management and Financial Reporting) possible based on the spring semester options they choose.
Some of the MSc modules also cover elements of the learning outcomes from all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme, helping students progress towards CFA Charterholder status.
