On this MSc, students will learn the core aspects of mobile networks and the changing internet environment. Theyl'll gain insight into the advances in next generation 5G/6G mobile and wireless communications, continuous evolution of internet technologies and the supporting software solutions.
Students will complete an MSc project, which can encompass experiments conducted in Surrey's pioneering testing facilities. These include the on-campus mobile network testing infrastructure at 5G/6GIC, which is a fully functional academic 5G network test site.
There’s also scope to explore a variety of other topics, such as future internet technologies, 5G/6G mobile networking, and network ‘service’ management and control, as well as emerging network services like broadband and 'internet of things’ applications.
