This MA Creative Writing encourages lateral thought and will sharpen students' research and writing abilities.
Students may join this course as a relatively new writer, wanting to experiment with a range of forms and discover their voice and genre. Alternatively, they may arrive with a more advanced project them want to develop further.
Either way, the extensive experience of our published writers and academics, including the Distinguished Writer-in-Residence and Poet in Residence, will help students hone their technical ability, and deepen their understanding of the cultural, literary and theoretical history of text production. This course could be the stepping stone to a career in writing, communications, publishing, marketing, advertising, journalism or teaching, or a gateway to PhD study.
