The MSc International Marketing course provides an excellent stepping stone into an exciting career in international marketing. Students will benefit from Surrey's long and continuing tradition of research and teaching in both marketing and retail. Run by the Department of Marketing and Retail Management, this course will stretch students' intellect through its combination of an analytical approach and a global focus.
This Master's course will encourage students to be entrepreneurial and innovative, providing them with valuable opportunities to engage with real international marketing problems throughout their studies. Through a combination of lectures, interactive seminars and IT lab workshops, the University provides research-led teaching by experienced academics in international marketing and international business. There are opportunities for practice-based teaching and learning by inviting experienced practitioners from international organizations. Students will also develop marketing research skills which can be applied to various international marketing issues in their dissertation.
The MSc International Marketing programme is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB); the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for the purpose of gaining CIM qualifications through the Graduate Gateway; and the Institute of Export and International Trade (IOEIT).
Over the years, Surrey's marketing courses have successfully trained graduates who have gone on to fruitful careers in a variety of international organizations, particularly in areas such as advertising, digital marketing, events management, media and public relations and publishing.
