The Agroecology program gives students an understanding of how people can achieve economically sustainable agricultural production while conserving resources and maintaining the integrity of ecosystems.
The Agroecology program focuses on the study of managed ecosystems and the application of ecological practices to achieve economically and environmentally sustainable agriculture production. Graduates are prepared for careers at the technical and management levels in government and non-government agencies involved in planning and management of natural and agricultural resources.
Agroecology students have the option to earn credits through the Cooperative Education Program, connecting classroom learning with valuable work experience.
