The hospitality industry has been a booming industry for the last few years. With the advent of globalization and increased tourism, the industry has grown tremendously and has opened up a number of job opportunities. This program is designed to prepare students for various job opportunities in the hospitality industry. The students will gain knowledge about the functioning of various areas of hospitality, including catering, restaurant management, housekeeping and Food and Beverage Management.
Transfer of Credits
Students completing the diploma in hospitality Management program at western community college who achieve the required academic standing and meet the required criteria will be eligible for admission to Vancouver Community College with full block transfer in the Bachelor of Hospitality degree*.
Students will also be eligible for admission to Fairleigh Dickinson University with full block transfer in Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies.
