In our Bachelor of Arts and Science (BASc) in Public Health program, you'll examine the impacts of biology, environmental quality, social status, health-care services and government policies on risks to the health of individuals and communities, and gain the research skills necessary to improve our understanding of these relationships.
The requirements to complete this program capture the core material typically associated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health or Life Sciences, and supplement that material with the essential knowledge obtained from a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Studies or Community Health. In addition to the core requirements of the degree, you can customize your program of study by selecting elective courses that best meet your own educational and career goals.
Graduates of Public Health find employment in many health-related careers and by tailoring their studies, they’re prepared to apply to graduate and professional postgraduate programs.
